Alcor 37 PS aluminium paste flux

Flux for soldering pure aluminium and aluminium alloys AlMn and AlMgSi: S-Al99.5; S-Al99,5Ti; S-AlMg3; S-AlMg5; S-AlMg4,5Mn; S-AlSi5; S-AlSi12 (DIN 1732). The flux is corrosive, the flux residues must be removed.

Suitable e.g. for soldering irons CHEM-WELD 860, 845, 810.

Working temperature range: 400 - 650 °C.

Information:

Select fluxes according to the type of base material and the type and working temperature of the solder. The fluxes promote soldering, remove oxides before soldering, prevent the formation of oxides and harmful compounds during soldering. They are available in powder, paste or liquid form. (Brazing fluxes have a lower melting temperature and are suitable for working temperatures up to 450°C.)

FL class fluxes - are designed for brazing aluminium and its alloys. FL10 fluxes are corrosive and must be removed by rinsing with water or pickling. FL20 fluxes do not need to be rinsed, they do not cause corrosion, but the solder joint is not resistant to water and moisture.

Store dry! Protect from frost! Store in tightly sealed containers protected from moisture and water.
