CHEM-WELD 850
TIG wire/solder for welding magnesium and its alloys
- Can be welded with flame or TIG
Wire suitable for repair and welding of high magnesium alloys. E.g. chainsaws, power tools, housings, pumps, guards, spot welder arms, fan blades, alucol, wheel discs. For flame welding, use flux #120.
Magnesium and its alloys must be welded with a preheat of 150-300°C. It is necessary to use a protective atmosphere and to prevent access of oxygen due to possible ignition of magnesium. Protective gas I1 - Argon.
