Detailed information

Product detailed description

CHEM-WELD 210 Tinning and soldering paste

For professional use only.

For soldering, tinning, improving spots on tinned parts, for rewinding body parts. The paste can also be used as a flux for applied lubricating tin. Can be used on copper, brass and iron materials (steel). For soft soldering and tinning of wires, filters, body parts, etc. The paste can be diluted with brazing fluid CHW130. Contains lead - not suitable for food processing.

Instructions. If necessary, dilute with CHEM-WELD 130. Thoroughly degrease the surface of the material, e.g. with degreasing spray or CHEM-WELD 1802. Apply the paste with a brush as a thin layer, dip small parts into the paste. Heat the soldered area until the solder melts (working temperature approx. 180-230°C). Wipe the still liquid solder with a clean cloth to remove any residual flux. Then wash with water and dry.

The paste contains lead, therefore the colour of the tinned surface is dark grey.

If you require a glossy surface appearance, use CHEM-WELD 200 paste.
