Product detailed description
CHEM-WELD 6100-O
Special bimetal electrode for cold welding of grey cast iron
- Crack resistant
- Weld and surrounding area remain grindable
- colour match to the base material
- Welding without preheating
- also for oiled cast iron
- for joining steel + cast iron
- 1 kg package in plastic box
Unique technology = minimum heat input
For high quality welding such as presses, shear bars, pump or compressor parts, worm screws, engine exhaust pipes, cylinders, sewer pipes.
How to weld cast iron?
1. Short caterpillars
1 to 3 cm weld - the length of the caterpillar should approximately match the thickness of the part being welded
2. Temovat
Immediately after welding, temper with a round-nosed (blunt) hammer, never with a sharp tool
3. Interpass
Place the next caterpillar when you keep your bare hand on the weld
ADVANTAGES
high quality joints
no preheating
for oiled cast iron
crack resistant
transition electrode
When welding cast iron, the technological procedure must be followed .

Společnost CHEM-WELD byla založena v Rakousku roku 1967 panem Siegfriedem Schweigerem.
Název CHEM-WELD znamená spojení chemie a svařování.
Prvním výrobkem bylo speciální lepidlo na kov Chem-Stahl 1000 HT, které nahrazovalo svařování v dolech JAR.
