Universal tungsten electrode
WL 15 - lanthanum 1.5% LaO2
WL - lanthanated electrodes are, like WC electrodes, universal for almost all AC and DC welding applications.
Lanthanated electrodes are suitable for welding of unalloyed and alloy steels, aluminium alloys, titanium alloys, nickel, copper and magnesium. They outperform cermets especially in the low current range. They are also suitable for plasma and microplasma welding.
The higher proportion of lathane facilitates ignition, especially in automated welding (orbital, robotic, positioning tables, etc.).
