Detailed information

Product detailed description

CHEM-WELD 3220

Coating electrode, tough and shock-resistant

Hardness up to 58 HRC

The weld metal, although it has a high hardness, is particularly tough and impact resistant. It can only be machined by grinding. For armouring of machine and structural parts that are also subject to impact stress during increased wear.

Excavator teeth, shimming plates, ploughshares, hammer drills. Pulling, pushing and pressing tools, hammer mills, hammers.

ADVANTAGES

  • Hard and tough
  • low price

DISADVANTAGES

  • welding in 2-3 layers is necessary to achieve final hardness

SPECIFICATIONS

CHEM-WELD 3220 - Welding electrode, tough and impact resistant

DIN 8555: E 6 - UM 55 - G

EN 14700: E Fe 8

Packaging: basic

Welding current: ~/=+

Welding positions: PA, PB, PF

The weld metal, although having high hardness, is tough and resistant to abrasive wear and impact. For the armouring of machine and structural parts which are also subject to impact stresses due to increased wear. For the welding of excavator teeth, shrinking plates, ploughshares, hammers, hammer drills and mills, pulling, pushing and pressing tools, crushers, mixing machines. Can be used for welding without interlayers on new and worn parts.

Snadný zápal, stabilní oblouk, minimální roztřik, snadno odstranitelná struska, dobrá výtěžnost, po 4 vrstvě Hrc super ??.

Společnost CHEM-WELD byla založena v  Rakousku roku 1967 panem Siegfriedem Schweigerem.

Název CHEM-WELD znamená spojení chemie a svařování.

Prvním výrobkem bylo speciální lepidlo na kov Chem-Stahl 1000 HT,  které nahrazovalo svařování v dolech JAR.
