CHEM-WELD 3404 W - Cobalt TIG wire Stellite 1
Cobalt alloy CoCr-C filled with a large amount of carbides. The hardest grade of cobalt alloy. Extremely resistant to abrasion, corrosion and thermal shock above 760°C The weld can only be machined by grinding.
Applications: for rust and abrasion resistant welds at high temperatures, in pickling lines, in chemical plants, in furnaces, for welding dies, forging parts, hammer anvils, mandrels, spikes, dies, punches, bearing bushings, stripping pliers, shear edges of "hot shears", for mould repairs, nickel alloy repairs.
