Unique flux for silver solder and ABP UltraFlux® Special B foils
For copper, brass, stainless steels, silver, low carbon steels.
Particularly suitable for spot soldering with silver soldering irons and for silver foil soldering.
Operating temperature range: 450 - 950 °C
- Suitable for all silver soldering irons - e.g. CHW 511, 505, 521;
- For silver foils - CHW 512, 516
- For phosphor-copper (Cu-P) solder - (e.g. CHW 550, 950, 930).
For all metals except light metal alloys, for soldering copper, brass and red bronze, for installation of gas and water pipes with copper pipes.
Mix the paste well before use. Apply flux to the cleaned workpiece by brushing or dipping. The area around the solder joint should also be covered with flux to protect it from oxidation. Heat the workpiece to soldering temperature and insert the solder into the solder point and heat together. Flux residues are corrosive and must be removed.
Store in tightly sealed containers protected from moisture.
If stored properly, the product has a minimum shelf life of 12 months in unopened original packaging.
