Product detailed description

KITin 150 TIG LA

"A high-performance welding machine with many features that make work easier. The biggest advantage I see is the ability to weld at only 10 A, which is useful when welding in damp conditions or in cowsheds, for example, without endangering animals."

KITin 150 - 170 TIG LA are third generation professional inverter welding machines designed using IGBT technology with fast microprocessor control - FAST CONTROL. The machines are characterized by high load capacity (125 A at 100%) and power, low power consumption, excellent welding properties, lightweight, small size and above all reliable. The control electronics are manufactured by SMD technology. These machines are designed for operations where the emphasis is on maximum utility value and high performance at a reasonable price. The machines are equipped with microprocessor control and a display showing the set values.

Equipment

  • Clear display showing setpoints
  • Simple and clear graphics with large buttons

  • MMA
  • HOT START function
  • ARC FORCE function
  • ANTI STICK function - when the welding electrode short circuits, the current automatically drops to 10 A
  • V.R.D. MMA safety system

  • TIG LA
  • TIG LA function - in the idle state there is 12 V at the output connectors - the inverter is in the off state. When the tungsten electrode is touched, the inverter automatically switches on.
  • TIG PULS welding - for welding thin materials
  • TIG DOWN SLOPE - crater filling
  • TIG end current

MMA welding
Perfect ignition of the welding arc is ensured by the HOT START function which is easily adjustable in two levels. HOT START - the "starting current" can be set from 0 (off) up to a value 70% higher than the set welding current. It is also possible to adjust the duration of the HOT START depending on the welding conditions. A blanking voltage of 85V supports error-free arc ignition.
KITin TIG LA machines are equipped as standard with the safety function V.R.D. (Voltage Reduce Device). The function can be easily switched on and then off, which is indicated by symbols on the display. V.R.D. offers increased safety when working and handling the machine when switched on. V.R.D automatically reduces the idle voltage to a safe value of 15 V when the operator is not welding. As soon as the welder touches the material to be welded with the electrode, the voltage is immediately increased to 85 V on empty (for 5 sec.) and the HOT START function is activated, ensuring a trouble-free start.

TIG welding
The machines are equipped with precision touch ignition of the TIG LA arc. LA ensures a safe start in TIG and very low wear of the tungsten electrode during start-up. The electronics allow setting the DOWN SLOPE function - filling the crater at the end of the welding process and setting the pulsation in the range up to 500 Hz for welding very thin stainless steel and other materials. For precise ending of the welding process it is possible to adjust the end current.
Activation of the end of the welding process is done by simply moving the tungsten electrode away and then closer. The welding arc decreases in intensity for a set period of time (0-5 s) until complete shutdown - "crater filling".
Equipped in this way, the KITin TIG LA machines with their simple controls and parameter settings are versatile in almost all MMA and TIG welding applications.

Microprocessor control allows:
In the MMA method:

  • Setting of the HOT START function - % increase in current, or switching off the function.
  • Setting of the HOT START function time
  • Switching on and off the V.R.D. safety function.
  • Setting the welding current

In TIG method:

  • Switching on the PULS function and setting it in the frequency range 0.5 - 500 Hz
  • Switching on the welding current timing function - DOWN SLOPE and its setting in the range of 0,1 - 5 s.
  • Setting the end welding current from 10 A
  • Welding current setting
  • Approximation of the tungsten electrode to the material to be welded
  • Touching the tungsten electrode to the material to be welded
  • Distance of the tungsten electrode and ignition of the welding arc by LA - very low wear of the tungsten electrode by contact

Welding process
Welding process termination and activation of DOWN SLOPE (crater filling) is performed by moving the tungsten electrode to approx. 8-10 mm away from the material to be welded Re-approach - welding current is reduced for a set time (0 to 5 s) to the set value of the end current (e.g. 10A) - crater filling Welding process termination. Digital control automatically shuts down the welding process
