Cross section 16 mm2, for welding current max 120 A (max cable length 7,5+7,5 m)

Cross section 25 mm2, for welding current max 170 A (max cable length 8,5+8,5 m)

Cross section 35 mm2, for welding current max 210 A (max cable length 10+10 m)

Cross section 50 mm2, for welding current max 260 A (max cable length 11,5+11,5 m)

To select the appropriate cable length, calculate the maximum permissible voltage drop, i.e. max 2 V

specific resistance of copper (0.017) x total length of both cables (m) x welding current (A) : cable cross-section (mm2) = voltage drop (V)
