Product detailed description
CHEM-WELD 2340
Electrode for stainless steel
Electrode with self-cleaning slag, no residue left on the weld. No spatter, silent arc, soft flux, welding without ignition, also on AC equipment, welding in all positions, easy re-ignition, no annealing. No ignition notches (highly polishable weld joint). High resistance to intergranular corrosion (low carbon content). Cut-free welding due to low electrode wetting, low heat input (welding at low currents). For welding joints and welds on stainless steels, for the chemical industry. E.g. for material CSN 17240,17249,17350, 17352, 17347, 17353, ferritic 13% Cr steels. Suitable for boilers, tanks, scrubbers, oil tanks, valves, for gas and water pipelines.
ADVANTAGES
excellent welding properties
slag falls off by itself
also suitable for transformers
DISADVANTAGES
not suitable for drop welds - for top-down welding CHEM-WELD 2340F

Společnost CHEM-WELD byla založena v Rakousku roku 1967 panem Siegfriedem Schweigerem.
Název CHEM-WELD znamená spojení chemie a svařování.
Prvním výrobkem bylo speciální lepidlo na kov Chem-Stahl 1000 HT, které nahrazovalo svařování v dolech JAR.
