CH 1408 - Sealant for quick metal repairs under water

for repairing metal parts, filling cracks, holes, leaks and damaged surfaces under water. Cut off the desired piece of sealant and thoroughly hand-wet. Squeeze into desired area and allow to cure. Initial cure after 30 minutes. The cured material can be painted and machined by drilling, filing, milling.

Apply to cleaned and roughened surfaces. Wear protective gloves during application. Suitable for underwater applications.

Processing time: processing time is 15 minutes at room temperature 20 °C. Full mechanical cure occurs in approx. 60 minutes, final strength after 24 hours.

Shelf life: The epoxy stick should be stored in a shaded place at a temperature between 5°C and 20°C.

Chemical resistance: resistant to hydrocarbons, ketones, alcohols, esters, salt solutions, dilute acids.

Colour after curing: white

Long-term temperature resistance: 120°C

Short-term temperature resistance: 150°C
